The XI141202 digital input module is a forward and reverse counter (32-bit) used to acquire binary 24V control signals in a ctrlX I/O station. The module features two separate counters, each with its own control input. This control input determines the counter direction or can be used as a gate input. The two outputs are switched depending on the counter value and can be used as fast control signals. The signal status of the inputs and outputs is indicated by the channel LED on the detachable peripheral connector.
The logic and peripheral power supply as well as the EtherCAT-based module communication are forwarded through the module.
The corresponding ESI files are available for integration into the higher-level system.
