The XI614001 encoder module allows the connection of an absolute encoder with SSI (Synchronous Serial Interface) to a ctrlX I/O station. Both single-turn and multi-turn encoders are supported. The 24 V encoder power supply can be connected directly via the module's terminals. The four additional digital inputs, implemented using 2-wire technology, allow the connection of application-specific signals.
The logic and peripheral power supply as well as the EtherCAT-based module communication are forwarded through the module.
The corresponding ESI files are available for integration into the higher-level system.
