The XI180202 digital input module is used to acquire binary 24 V control signals and their timestamps in a ctrlX I/O station. The module features two channels and a two-wire interface. The signal status is indicated by the channel LED on the detachable peripheral connector. The signals are pre-processed with a 1 μs filter and timestamped to indicate the edge transition time. The timestamps are based on distributed system time (DC).

The logic and peripheral power supply as well as the EtherCAT-based module communication are forwarded through the module.

The corresponding ESI files are available for integration into the higher-level system.
