The XI290202 digital output module is used to output binary 24 V control signals to a ctrlX I/O station. The module features two channels and a two-wire interface. The short-circuit-proof push-pull output actively switches to 24 V or 0 V and has a low output delay. Signal output is DC-synchronous. The signal status is indicated by the channel LED on the detachable peripheral connector. The outputs are generated with an adjustable bus cycle time divider (oversampling factor n). The module receives n bits of process data in each bus cycle, which are output sequentially at the rate of bus cycle time ÷ oversampling factor n. The minimum output step width is 2 μs. Output data is synchronized with other EtherCAT devices via a distributed clock for high accuracy. The digital outputs are powered by the 24 V supply from UP.

The logic and peripheral power supply as well as the EtherCAT-based module communication are forwarded through the module.
