The industrially suitable and long-term available control platform ctrlX CORE has a wide range of applications and can be used, for example, in PLC applications in the general mechanical engineering market, via motion applications for simple handling tasks, as well as as a purely open and industrially suitable control platform for customer-specific expertise.

With numerous features at all levels - from design and performance to software and networking, Bosch Rexroth offers much more than just a powerful control system. ctrlX CORE is the consistent, flexible and open control platform that equips every factory for the future.

ctrlX CORE consistently uses EtherCAT as the automation bus as standard and fits seamlessly into the standardized ecosystem with consistent engineering. At the same time, the platform supports all common communication standards for connection to the IT level. The Linux-based operating system is open for the integration of all ctrlX CORE and ctrlX WORKS engineering apps as well as other partners and customer-specific apps. The integrated ctrlX Data Layer manages communication between the apps in real and non-real time.

With the ctrlX Device Portal, the controls can be managed centrally and maintained and updated via remote access. Certified according to IEC 62443, ctrlX CORE connects the machine securely to the IT level.
